NICANA Adventure Tours Inc operates Cultural/Eco tours throughout Central America. With tours in the Pearl Lagoon Basin and in the South Atlantic Autonomous Region in the region of Nicaragua.
Tours include river excursions in traditional dugout canoes (known as dories) and cultural interpretation events. Tour itineraries include visits to agricultural colleges, nature reserves and farming communities, Guests will experience camping along the edges of the Wawashan River, searching for caiman at night, discovering local techniques for catching shrimp, crabs and cockles. NICANA’S guests also have an opportunity to experience the way of life of the Garifuna people.
Tour the Pearl Cays, tiny uninhabited islands in the Caribbean. Where the jungle camps provide breathtaking views of the southern night sky.
Snorkel and dive with a certified PADI Dive Instructor, who will introduce you to plentiful marine life and the amazing bio-luminescence the area has to offer
