8 day Rio Wawashang River Adventure
on this tour you will travel up the great Wawashang river on in traditional dugout canoes (known as dories) we will depart from Orinoco Village and head up river with stops along the way with our final destination in river view. Along way we will be camping along the edges of the Wawashan River, learning the local flora and fauna, searching for caiman at night as well as learning the local techniques for catching shrimp crabs and cockles.
Day 1 You will be picked up by the tour guides we will take a faerie to Orinoco Village. Where you will get a chance to take in the village life and where you will receive your safety orientation before departure up the river.
Days 2 -3 we will depart Orinoco and head for the mouth of the Wawashang river and make our way up the river well have make several stops along the way to give you the opportunity to relax and have a meal. You will have the chance to see the wild life along the river. We will stop midway to our destination at stop for day and make camp for the evening. At night we will go searching for Caimen.
Days 3 we will complete our journey up river to River view (again with stops for sight seeing and meals) once we arrive we will set up camp again for the reminder of or stay in the river view area.
Day 4 we will explore the area further with horse back riding tours with stops for meals and sight seeing and returning to camp for the night.
Day 5 we will be hiking long the west bank of the river and further into jungle returning to camp for dinner in the evening
Day 6 locals will take you under there wing for the day to teach you how to fish for shrimp crabs and cockles and night well enjoy a feast of the days catch.
Day 7 well make our way back down river and back to Orinoco. Well spend the night with the Orinoco people before
Day 8 The Orinoco people will bid you fare well with a breakfast Orinoco style. We will then take the faerie back to Bluefields
